Farmington Bay Bird Refuge, UT

Eagles and Mountains

We took a February trip to the Farmington Bay Bird Refuge as the bald eagles travel through. We managed to catch a few; we saw four in total. As you can see from the photos, I managed to get very close to a couple of them. I also saw the American Kestrel, White Faced Ibis, and the obvious seagull. Overall, it's a tremendous bird-watching spot with stunning backdrops of snowcapped mountains.
